week 2
Congratulations! You've survived another week of Christmas. Your reward? Besides the usual presents, a couple of locations have been updated on the map, so have a look! In addition, we'd like to remind you that investigations are totally a thing you can do during the week to try and learn more about the strange lodge your characters are stuck in. Finding evidence is its own kind of Christmas gift, right? Of course, the house might not like you snooping, but maybe the more you look, the more you'll find!
Also, this week's activity check is now live. And as usual, it's never a bad time to submit threads for regains! Have you been naughty or nice? We don't care, you could still get something really special.
So sit down by the fire and sing some carols if you'd like, there's mistletoe abound and candy canes if you're feeling down. I mean, sure, people have died but that's no reason to let it get you down, right? After all, it could be up to you to find out who's killing Christmas! Or is it New Year's now? Who knows...

Princess Starshine, I could kiss you. [he just won't, though]

but here's a riddle for you: if four are gone now, where did the knife they found yesterday come from? ]

Room 1, Locked to Henry
[He was bundled up in the corner of the bed, feeling a slight chill down his spine. Perhaps it was from the simulated snow in the room, or perhaps there were horrible thoughts dancing around in his head.]
[Whatever the case. He thought he would safer if he tried to block the door, but it seems he might have forgotten tonight. They should have had a lock on this thing, for who knows what horrible being might lurk into his room...]

As in sorry your night's about to get crazy. He slips right in like a sneaky ninja and even had closed it without the other man noticing.
He didn't learn his lesson after Elizabeth and begins to creep closer to the bed before yelling: ]
Boo! Guess who!

[Dorian jolts up from his bed with a frightened scream. His head darts in a couple of directions before he spots the offender.]
Henry?! What are you doing in my room?! At this hour?!
[Damnit, he moved here to get away from you! And the evil santas.]
no subject
Don't you know, Dorian? You can never escape the evil santas.
You can never escape Henry either. ]
Because I said I would sometime.
[ ... And of course his answer is simple and quick. ]

Well... You made good on your promise. Now could you please let me sleep in peace?
no subject
[ Because he ain't got anything better to do. ]
investigating kinda
Her first order of business will be to search the Christmas tree, whether there's anything to be found there or not--when you've just woken up from a dream wherein one of the hosts could pull a branch from the tree, break it, and have that action correspond to killing one of them, sometimes you need to seek a bit of peace of mind!]

[Lunafreya definitely didn't miss out on that yesterday, not with all the discussion that resulted in it. There's a sigh of resignation, a silent prayer even if her gods cannot hear her here... and she's going to follow it. Does it now carry on from where it originally stopped in the middle of the lobby? Where to, oh Blood Trail Road?]

First and foremost she's seeking out Shintaro, though if she happens to find Lena first she won't hesitate to stop and talk to her first! After all, that apparition she'd seen was nothing short of worrisome, even if Lena turns up alive and well now...
She'll stop and chat with anyone else that might call out to her, but she's a woman on a mission for now!]

When she sees Luna, she gives her a little wave.]
I'm making some tea, want some?
no subject
Thank you, that would be wonderful. But... [How does she bring this up?] Lena, have you noticed anything amiss this morning?
no subject
[She will go about preparing a second mug for Luna as she thinks on that.]
Just the stuff that Chuuya and Dorian found last night. Did something else show up?
no subject
[Lena, you are a doll, honestly.]
I'm afraid I had an ill dream about the lobby last night. This morning I meant to prove to myself it was my imagination, but I discovered a message written in blood instead.
[She'll get to that in a moment; there's a more important part first...]
Just after I noticed it, I saw... you. Something that looked like you, perhaps. She was translucent, and once she had my attention she tried to reach out to me before disappearing.
I'm glad to find that you're all right.

Lunafreya? Are you...okay? Did something happen?
no subject
Yes, something happened. I need to speak to you in private, if I may.
no subject
[Ohhhh boy...his face flushes a bit as his eyes find the floor.]
Uh, okay, just...calm down and we can talk...
no subject
Forgive me, Shintaro. I spoke without thinking. I simply meant... perhaps the library?
[And then she shakes her head, resolve strengthening. No, she doesn't want to risk anyone overhearing this...]
Please... follow me.
[Is she leading him to the penguin room? Damn straight she's leading him to the penguin room, creepy photorealistic images and all.]
