Week 3: 4th Investigation

Well it sure has been a strange week, hasn't it? Maybe you're all still drowsy from your slumber party, or maybe you wanted some time alone and purposely didn't go hang with the reindeer. Either way, the house is only getting creepier so it should probably come as no surprise that you guys need to have a look around and see if Santa left the naughty children any coal. Or you know, dead bodies.

Once again, it's time for an investigation! Characters may go about their morning business, just be sure you let us know what room you're investigating in and we'll let you know if your morning is getting rudely interrupted. But don't worry if you miss out! There's plenty to find and a killer to catch. Just have to figure out whose Christmas time was cut short first.

[You guys will have to give Luna a bit of a break this morning; not only was she not expecting to find a pile of presents outside the door, but for one of them to be her wedding dress... for those who are there when she opens it, her surprise and sorrow at seeing it are on full display.

But once Chuuya comes back in, warning them to stay away from the library if they're squeamish, Lunafreya pushes back those feelings for now--there's something far more pressing at hand than her personal sorrow! She'll be headed to the dining room first and foremost; she's spent a lot of time in that room this week, focusing on the feelings that seem to have taken on a life of their own there, and following up on that is her first priority.]

[ Good thinking, Luna! If you were looking for something suspicious, you need look no further.

See, Lunafreya is not alone in the dining room this morning. Someone seems to be seated at one of the tables. Why not step in closer and go say hi? ]

[Oh, absolutely. She won't hesitate to approach the figure at the table. Who is it?

(Also, how's the atmosphere in here this morning? Still as oppressive as ever or does it seem to be worse?]

[ It seems especially cold in the dining room this morning, the atmosphere as oppressive and bleak as ever. Naturally, it doesn't help that the person seated is dead, the food on their plate untouched. A shame, she seemed so strong.

Rider is dead. ]

[Rude, house!! How about you stop killing people, what is this nonsense... Lunafreya shakes her head when she sees the body, reaching out to rest her hands on the woman's hair and bowing her head, her forehead almost touching Rider's hair.]

I pray that your soul finds peace, and that you will not be affected by whatever presence feeds off of your death.
