Week 3: 4th Investigation

Well it sure has been a strange week, hasn't it? Maybe you're all still drowsy from your slumber party, or maybe you wanted some time alone and purposely didn't go hang with the reindeer. Either way, the house is only getting creepier so it should probably come as no surprise that you guys need to have a look around and see if Santa left the naughty children any coal. Or you know, dead bodies.

Once again, it's time for an investigation! Characters may go about their morning business, just be sure you let us know what room you're investigating in and we'll let you know if your morning is getting rudely interrupted. But don't worry if you miss out! There's plenty to find and a killer to catch. Just have to figure out whose Christmas time was cut short first.

he's going to head to the cabinet next, unless there's anything else right by the fridge that needs checking!]

[ The only thing left by the fridge would be to move it entirely and have a closer look at the body... but you'll probably need some help to do that.

As for the cabinet, there's a wire spring hanging out outside of it, and it's open. Feel free to look inside! ]

[ The cabinet is empty, but there is a wire that leads from the cabinet, to the light switch and then the doorknob. It seems to be loose!

What a weird combination. ]

[...HMMMMMmmmmmmmm. Yeah, he thinks he's got an idea of what might be going on here. Is there anything else going on that doesn't require Teamwork?]

[ The only other thing besides moving the fridge is the cookie trail that Guzma followed into the room! You'll notice they lead from the door to right in front of the open cabinet. ]

[why the fuck are y'all doing scavenger hunts. ugh, whatever. he'll poke his head out of the kitchen then.]

Yo. Somebody wanna help me move the fridge? It's obstructing some justice here.

[he's coming down there anyway to check out the body after he's good and finished upstairs, so here's chuuya, right on cue.]

There isn't a competition for messiest murder going on here, they do know that, right? Shit.

[can they maybe not?? but yeah he'll go ahead and head over to the fridge, trying to find a good spot to lift without stepping in blood or something. gross.]

Right. I'm thinking this Bunnelby hole probably goes deeper, but we've probably gotta check the body first...

[yeah, and he'll take the other side. Thankfully, he's pretty strong, so. You know.]

UP THE FRIDGE GOES THEN... chuuya's pretty strong for his size so they should be pretty okay as far as moving this thing. what's going on under there, besides blood and everything.]

[ nice job, team! Between the two of you it takes some doing, but it seems like you were able to heft the fridge back on its feet, so to speak.

Naturally, Sugimoto's corpse isn't looking so good but there's one injury that stands out as decidedly not fridge-related: the sharp end of a knife is poking out through his back. Might want to turn him over to see where that thing came in from. ]

This is kind of excessive, if you ask me..

[ At least the body isn't as bad as you feared! Turning the body over reveals that the knife went into his chest. Chuuya's right! Talk about thorough. ]

...huh. The thing that weirded me out is there seems to be some kinda hookup to electrocute someone in the closet over there.
